Frequently Asked Questions

Do I get a Proof before engraving or personalization starts?

Yes, it is our standard practice to provide a proof on all Plaques, Crystal, Glass and Acrylic Awards.  On simple plate engraving, proof are not generally sent unless requested.  Proofs are generally provided in PDF format and sent in advance of production.  Proofs are graphical depictions of the products purchased using specific fonts and logos if requested.

What are your engraving or personalization fees?

Our engraving or personalization fees are now "FREE" on most of our products.  Products that still incur an engraving fee will point out the fees by specific product(s).

Are Logos included in the Engraving fees?

Yes. Our "FREE" engraving covers 1 logo. Additional logos will incur an additional $15.00 fee. Logos must in vector format(see artwork requirements). Logos not provided in the right formats could result in additional art fees.

What are your Setup Fees?

Set fees are waived on products purchased from Classic Achievements. Our promotional products all carry separate setup fees that are product specific.  Refer to each product for that specific information.  Products that require engraving only that were not purchased from us could incur a set-up fee of $15-$30 depending on the product.

What if my Award arrives Engraved incorrectly?

We take great precautions to ensure accuracy on all of our engraved awards. Internal procedures are in place to ensure we engrave only what you approve, though mistakes can happen. If you receive awards engraved differently than your approved artwork we will take care of all costs required to replace your award(s) including shipping. If an error occurs as result of an over-site on your part,  then you will be responsible for the rework.

When will my order ship out?

We ship most orders within 3-5 days from proof approval. When your order ships, you will receive a UPS tracking # for your convenience. We will use the valid email address you provided when you placed your order.

What is Colorfill and can I get Colorfill on my product?

Colorfill is a process used on Crystal, Glass, Acrylic and some Wooden Awards to change the color of the engraved text. Brass plates on plaques are not colorfilled. If you ordered one of the applicable products, You can ask for the colorfill process to be used. Colorfill is available in gold, silver, bronze, black or white. There is an additional charge of $15-20 per color, per item for this service.  Some logos cannot be colorfilled and we will need to see the logo to make that determination. 

Can You Create a Custom Award for Me?

Yes, Custom awards are one of our specialties. We customize many of our product designs to fit your needs. All we need is your ideas and we can start the process. You will be able to make adjustments as the product develops through the proofing process.

What methods of Payment do you accept?

Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Business Checks, PayPal

Do you work with PO's(Purchase Orders)?

Yes, we can work with your company or organization's PO process. Our finance dept will need to establish payment timeframes with responsible persons.  PO orders cannot be used on classicachievements.com, you must establish this process with finance directly.

Can you my Drop Ship Awards or Promotional Products to different locations from my own?

Yes. Standard shipping & handling charges will apply. We request that you call us to place these types of orders.  Classicachievements.com will delay orders that have different shipping address from the billing address.

Do all Awards come in a Presentation Box?

Yes, we make every effort to provide presentation boxes for all products.  However in a few cases, due to the size of the award, packaging may not be available.

Can I place an order over the phone or by fax?

Yes. Orders can be placed via telephone at 980-819-9176. Orders by fax is not available at this time.  Payment will be requested at the time the order is placed over the phone. All engraving text and logo information should then be emailed to cs@classicachievements.com before the process will get started.
